I've tried to indicate which reading level each ballet book is best suited to. As every child is different you'll have to be the final judge. About my reading level definitions. Pre-reading means just that, what text there is must be read to the child. Emerging or beginning reader, double spaced lines, simple words, larger typeface, many illustrations: a visual as well as written book. Proficient or good reader; is capable of larger vocabulary and learning new words - can read paragraphs in pages with smaller typeface. Pre-teen is for older children who are comfortable reading books with a larger vocabulary. Here you'll find many good ballet books for children of all ages and reading levels.
