| A; Do I have to Log In for online shopping? The answer is both yes and no. You do not need to log in to this site (www.balletbooks.com) to access the Powells and University Press of Florida online book shopping site. Yes you will need to log in to the Powells Bookstore web site or the University Press of Florida (UPF) web site to make a secure online purchase, for security reasons. This is desirable for making secure online transactions. You will be required to log in to the Powells or UPF web site, sepirately, at the appropriate time to make a purchase. back to top of page How often is this site updated? This web site and Powells web site are updated daily. Updates to this site include the program code and site content. Some books can take a significant amount of time to cross index and so may appear on the site before cross indexing is completed. As Powells also deals in out of print and used books you'll have to keep checking back if they do not have the book you are looking for. back to top of page No unique information about you is required to use www.balletbooks.com. The sort of information we do track is: which books are being looked at, and which books people want to order. These are tracked as a summed statistic without any unique indentifying characteristics whatsoever. These statistics are also referred to as blind statistics. Powells Bookstore has been doing e-commerce from the beginning and have an easy and secure way to get you the book you may be looking for. www.balletbooks.com is a registered Powells Partner. They are geographically quite close to me and I raid their ballet bookshelfs regularly. Yes I actually buy every book! I've never experienced or had any trouble when making online transactions. They index any book they have carried so your chances are very good for finding a treasure at times - but it may take some persistence . back to top of page Yes.
